ABS or Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, is a common thermoplastic polymer that is made by polymerizing styrene and acrylonitrile in the presence of polybutadiene. This combination makes this plastic much stronger than other similar plastics and is great for gamma radiation.
ABS Blue Anti-static (ABS-BAS) containers, made with this specialized material, have a surface resistivity of 10^8-10^10 ohms per square, and a static decay rate is 5 KV to 50V, in less than 200 nanoseconds.
